Pine Wood Derby

Tanner's car won the best "Matchbox Car" award and it took 3rd in the Webelos Den!! This was our 1st Derby because our pack only does it every 3 years, so not so bad for Trent's first time building a car. Of course it had much more style and detail then needed and we didn't really worry about how fast it would be.

It was one cool car!!

Celebrating Teagan's 1st Year

Teagan turned ONE on March 31st. How fast did that year go?! We have all had so much fun watching him grow and learn new things each day ... babies are so amazing, and we have been so blessed to have this little one.

At age ONE Teagan:

• Is still our little chub at around 27 lbs

• butt scoots everywhere he needs to go
  


• Gets to spend most his day with his Grandma eating fun treats and playing on the ipad


• has 8 teeth and got his 1 yr molers last week


• babbles the words mom, bye bye, belle (our dog's name) and sometimes dog and bath


• loves any food anyone will share with him as long as it's not baby food


• chews on a thermal blanket for comfort


• Receives hugs, head rubs, and kisses all day from 3 loving, proud, big brothers


• And of course is the cutest, smartest baby around :)

We love you Teagan!!! Happy 1st Birthday!!

So our computer got rid of all pics on our computer last week - I have a love/hate relationship with technology!! Good news is that Trent had just backed up all our pics the end of January - BAD news is the last couple of months pics were lost - VERY BAD, SAD news is that Teagan's 1st birthday pics were part of the lost pics :(

100th Day of School

This year the 1st graders celebrated the 100th day of school dressing up like they were 100 years old. These are my two little old men. (Ty's in the glasses) They were just cracking me up and played the part so well. When I poured Ty his cereal that morning he said "guess I'll eat my wheat" in this old man voice...and then Thayne on the way to school was talking like he had no teeth and telling me that he had forgot his teeth sitting in the water at home...where they come up with these things I don't know...but what cute little old men they will be :)

Disneyland

We made our way to the "happiest place on earth" this January for all our January babies birthdays!! I think the boys were the perfect ages for the big DISNEYLAND trip. I was nervous that our vacation was not going to be so fun when the week we were to leave we ended up having a couple of trips to the doctor; removal of stitches out of Tanner's head, baby Teagan's ear infection, and the Thayne's flu...BUT besides a couple a fevers for mom and Tyler along the way we all had so much FUN!! The kids were even pretty awesome on the car ride and we loved watching the outside temperature gauge in the van go from 14 degrees to around the 80 degree mark. It was perfect and can't wait to visit again!!!

My brother Ryan and his 3 kids , my aunt Jo and her granddaughter Ariana, and my mom and dad all came along....which made it really fun and less tiring...7 adults to 8 kids! Thanks to you guys for all the fun and all the help with our boys - We love you!!!

Teagan Update

I can't believe that Teagan is already almost 10 months old. He has brought us so much joy. Here are a few pictures of his life the last few months.

We had so much fun swimming, tubing, fishing, playing games & hanging out. It was very humid and we didn't last long without getting in the water. We had a photo shoot the one day since everybody was together. Here are just a few of the many photos that we got.

As you can see it was just Beautiful!! A lake shore cabin...I kept feeling like I was back in Seattle again cruisin' around on Lake Union during lunch :)
