Choo Choo!!! Our beautiful little nightmare :)

So my aunt Lynn sent the boys a gingerbread train for Christmas and we decided to put it together last night. Against my better judgment I went ahead and let the boys decorate it all by themselves. Melissa kept telling them to look at the picture on the box and try to make it look like that. The boys obviously had their own idea of how it should be done. They had lots O fun, but we ended up with what I dubbed as " Our beautiful little nightmare". Happy Holidays everyone!

May the "Farce" be with you

HALLOWEEN, HALLOWEEN!!!
Last night was Halloween!! The boys and I convinced mommy to dress up with us. Yeah!!!!!!!!! Thank you Meliss for playing along. That made it a really great night.
Every year I get excited for Halloween. It comes and then it goes and I feel really disappointed because I never dress up. Well not this year! It was a beautiful night for trick-or-treating, with what appeared to be a full or mostly full moon. If it is not obvious, we were all Star Wars characters. I do have to say that the night flew by too fast, but that's what happens when your having fun.
Now it's already November and four weeks till Thanksgiving. Hopefully we will have more post before then.

It's Fall!

It's Fall! My favorite time of year. The little lady and I decided to take a drive to the mountains to look at all the pretty colors. The whole way up our monkey's complained that they didn't want to go. Of course, after we got there and played in the leaves we could not convince them to leave. Apparently forcing your kids to have fun works too.

Hanging in there!

Ok, so dad tries to get a workout in from time to time in the basement. You know, have to keep up appearances. Not everyone can maintain such a girlish figure. Anywho! The monkeys on occasion join in the fun. This day they were all wanting to try and do pull-ups. I had in the past told them that the first one to do a pull-up would win $20. (Tyler won that bet by the way) So they were all trying to convince me to bet them again. I instead thought it would be silly to have them all hang there and capture the shinanigans. Three stud muffins. :)

G.I. Bros

If you have not yet noticed, the boys like to dress up. Just like their old man used to when he was a kid. The other day I was telling them about how I used to like to dress up as an army man, and how it was probably one of my favorites. So I decided that they should too have that opportunity. I loaded them in the mini van and we headed down to the local thrift store. Found some shirts for a buck and some pants for three bucks. Fortunately I was able to find one of each for all three rascals. FUN! FUN! FUN!

Guy's, Guy's, and more Guy's

Yes to mommies chagrin, as indicated in the last post, we are an action figure collecting bunch. Tanner wanted to set up all his "Good" guys and take a picture. (Bear in mind that this is but a small fraction of the multitude of men that we have) I particularly enjoy this picture because Tanner's silly brother Tyler popped his head into view and for some odd reason made a silly face. Sometimes one just has to wonder what is going through their minds. Thats why we love them so!!! :)

Super Hero's are us

Well, since the Misses has not posted anything since December I am taking it upon myself to say a word or two. Or post a picture if nothing else.
As some of you may know, we like the Super Hero's in our house. The problem I have run into is that they just don't make underoos like they used to. (At least not that I have been able to find) So we have decided to make our own in our house. I had the boy's pick an action figure they liked and we then made them into that Hero. Fun stuff!!!!!!
